Policy Change 22/04/2023

Third and Subsequent clan channels will be priced @ 85 rupees instead of 50% discount as the server prices have risen with time. All current donations will be taken accordingly. The prices were informed and first used in May 2022 but we forgot to update the policy. We apologize for inconvenience.

Temporary and Guset Member Privileges · March 31

Guest Member Privileges

Guest Membership is automatically granted to all the new users who join the server for the first time. Any old user who resets his PC or other client with no myTeamspeak backup to restore his old privileges also gets the privileges assigned automatically. At the moment Guest users are assigned the following privileges. The following privileges have not been changed since 2019.

1) Guest users are allowed to use voice chat for communications.

2) Guest users are allowed to create a temporary channel with limited privileges. The audio quality is reduced for the temporary channels and there is absolutely no privileges granted to the temporary channels.

3) Guest users are not permitted to use chat for communication: Channel chat and direct messages to other community members are permanently disabled to avoid spamming, advertisement and nuisance.

4) File Transfer and other permissions are totally restricted.

5) Guest users are not allowed to join any other channels.

6) Guest users are not the permanent members of this community which means they can be removed in case the server reaches maximum clients. This is done to accomodate and make room for our permanent members. The highest priority will always be given to the permanent members.

New Policy Changes for guest users 31st March 2023

The following new rules will be applied to all guest users from this day onwards:

1) No Teamspeak 5 feature privileges. No features and privileges will be granted to the guest users using Teamspeak 5 server/client.

2) Chat: All chat channel privileges will stand disabled for guest users. Global chat and other chat channels affiliated to RGI will remain disabled.

3) TS5 Chat: A new TS5 chat channel to request permanent or temporary access to the chat services of the server will be made available on which you can contact the server administrators to grant privileges to the server.

4) Screen Sharing and Other Privileges: Screen sharing and other TS5 feature privileges will remain permanently disabled to the guest users.

5) Any chat privileges granted to the TS5 Guest users can only be permitted by administrors of Executive Admin or Teamspeak Super Admin Rank only.

6) Non-Indian Guest Users: Non-Indian Guest users will not be granted permanent membership or verification unless they are affiliated to a group of this community. All users of Pakistan and Turkish origin (the following 2 countries have been country banned due to constant threatenings for DDOS attacks, advertising, showing malicious intent on a constant basis will remain permanently banned whether affiliated to a group of the community or not.) Users using VPN to avoid ban evasion or country ban will also be considered ban evaders and will be permanently banned from the community.

7) Any groups with Pakistani members affiliation to their group who wish to request permission for these new users are also reminded that we do not grant any express permissions to the Pakistani members. These members will be banned if any senior administrator witnesses their presence in permanent channels.

7) Any permanent channels or their channel owners will be given a warning for the first time if they break the rule in clause no. 6. In case the administration witnesses the channel/group allows the same again their group will be permanently removed from the server.

Granting Temporary Membership to Guest Users

1. Temporary Membership will be granted to guest users once they have been active for a period of 15 days as guest user. Assigning temporary membership to guest users is done in order allow them to have chat privileges. These chat privileges are extremely restricted and should not be considered as an absolute privilege.

2. Temporary Membership is only granted by an Executive Admin or Teamspeak Super Admin. All EA's and TSA's or administrators with equivalent permissions must consider granting temporary membership only to members of Indian origin.

3. Users with VPN who belong to a banned country or had their older account banned must also consider their temporary membership privileges terminated and the user will be banned in case they are caught ban evading.

4. Temporary Membership is only granted to non-Indian users after thorough verification of their background and remaining friendly to the community for prolonged period of time.

Temporary Member Privileges

Privileges granted to temporary members as of 31st March 2023.

I. Chat Privileges

1. Temporary Members are allowed to use chat channels.

2. Temporary Members are allowed to use private messaging.

3. Temporary Members are allowed to poke other users.

II. Other Privileges

1. Temporary Members are allowed to create temporary channels with limited audio privileges just like guest users.

2. Temporary users are allowed to use voice communication privileges.

3. File Transfer and other privileges are totally restricted.

4. Temporary Members are not permanent members of this community which means they can be removed in case the server reaches maximum clients or on the basis of administrative discretion. This is done to make room and accomodate our permanent users. The highest priority will always be given to the permanent members of this community.

New Policy changes for Temporary Members 31/03/2023

1) No Teamspeak 5 feature privileges. No features and privileges will be granted to the temporary users using Teamspeak 5 server/client.

2) Chat: All chat channel privileges will stand disabled for guest users. Global chat and other chat channels affiliated to RGI will remain disabled.

3) TS5 Chat: A new TS5 chat channel to request permanent or temporary access to the chat services of the server will be made available on which you can contact the server administrators to grant privileges to the server.

4) Screen Sharing and Other Privileges: Screen sharing and other TS5 feature privileges will remain permanently disabled to the temporary users.

5) Any chat privileges granted to the TS5 temporary users can only be permitted by administrors of Executive Admin or Teamspeak Super Admin Rank only.

6) Non Indian Temporary Users: All Non-Indian users given privileges of Temporary Membership on basis of their thorough verification and background check will not be further granted permanent membership in any case or event.

7) Administrative Discretion and Modification in the current policy: All the following and current privileges and rules are subjected to change at any time and the users may get their permissions and privileges revoked/granted accordingly.

Future Changes in Temporary Membership Privileges

The following privilges mentioned above are temporary and are subjected to change with time. As there have been new updates regarding Teamspeak 5 Client, Teamspeak 5 Mobile Client and Teamspeak 5 Server we have decided to introduce these new rules and policies which may get effective as the RGI Leadership deems fit in the future.

Note: These policies are only being introduced and will not effect or impact the current privileges until there is further announcement from the leadership that we have amended these rules. The following new rules may be implemented all at once or one at a time depending on the leadership.

1. Temporary Members will not be allowed to use chat channel privileges.

2. Temporary Members will not be allowed to use poke privileges.

3. Temporary Members will not be allowed to create any temporary channels. We will allow temporary channel creation through the bot system which is more effective in creating new channels.

4. Temporary Members will be given a direct access chat channel in TS5 so they can request for a permanent channel or ask for assistance regarding some issue on the teamspeak server but as these privileges are not absolute we do not gurantee any assistance on this matter.

5. Additional future changes regarding Temporary membership privileges is based on administrative discretion which can grant or revoke current or future privileges at any point in time.

Policy Change 31/03/2023

The following changes are reflected in the first post separately under a new heading Teamspeak 5 Server and Teamspeak 5 Client new features and privileges.

Teamspeak 5 Server & Client Possible Upcoming Features

1) Your current yearly subscription will not allow grant any permissions or privileges for the new server sided screen sharing facility.

2) Your current yearly subscription will not grant any permissions or privileges for the new server sided webcam communication facility.

3) Your current yearly subscription will not allow you to request for a server sided separate chat channel facility. (your current chat privileges will be impacted).

4) Any new system which permits the creation of web based bots (music bots, chat bots, info bots, etc) will not be allowed on the server without express and written permission by the RGI Leadership. New bots can be created by the server administration or purchased from the internet by the Revolution-Gaming Leadership for lease.

5) Any new feature which massively impacts on increased network or memory usage by the server will not be permitted.

6) Any new glitch or exploits which may allow the user to intentionally and/or mischievous usage of the exploit to increase server memory or bandwidth usage will result in immediate termination of their membership.

7) Updates and Changes in Server Rules and Membership Policies: The updates in the policy change on March 31st 2023 are subjected to change. New rules and policies can be added according to the need of the server. As there is no anticipation of Teamspeak 5 Server and Client going in open beta release we do not have full diclosure of new features for the application. We are moving with the new rules according to the information available through beta testing and social media posts.

8). Additional Charges: All new users must comply to the fact in case the RGI Community moves to Teamspeak 5 Server (Currently we are on Teamspeak 3 server) may result in additional server usage or memory usage which may result in increase in pricing in the future period of your current subscription. (We will try to keep it as nominal as possible as we have no intentions of monetizing from the server.) Due to an uncertain nature of Teamspeak Server and Client development and no release dates we are in the dark as well.

9) Status of Channels and Channel Owners who fail to pay the the additional charge: As this is one of the most trusted teamspeak servers of India we will not terminate memberships or remove channels even if the users fail to pay the additional charges. We will be reducing their total yearly subscription period according to the additional charges which they defaulted to pay. The channels will be further removed only after express warning and additional grace period which may last on administrative discretion.

Permissions

1)Any permissions to test new bots (any type of bot) must be approved by Bituspy.

2) Any permissions to create new chat channels or any TS5 feature must be approved by Bituspy.

3) Any permissions/privileges required for using new TS5 features must be expressely permitted by the RGI Leadership.

Termination of old Membership

1) All verified members with no affiliation or subscription to a permanent private/clan channel will have their memberships terminated on April 30th 2023.

2)In case you had a membership before but you do not wish to renew your channel, the members of the group will no longer hold verified member rank (permanent membership) and all members will be moved to temporary member rank.

3) All channel privileges, ranks, level and badges will be removed for the users on termination of their memberships on the provided date in clause 1.

4) Your levels will be reset and the administration will not be liable for any loss of data.
